About

Community for Change is a grassroots organization born out of the racial justice movement that followed the murder of George Floyd. What began as a local response in Montgomery County, PA—creating space for neighbors to grieve, speak out, and organize—has grown into a dynamic hub for activism, mutual aid, and collective action.

We are a network of residents, advocates, and organizations committed to building a county—and a world—where everyone’s rights, safety, equity, and freedom are protected. From organizing protests and community events to amplifying marginalized voices and holding leaders accountable, our work is rooted in connection and collective power.

We believe change begins at the local level. That’s why we focus on building strong coalitions, uplifting community voices, and creating opportunities for everyday people to take action—right in their own towns and neighborhoods.

Our work is guided by shared values: transparency, mutual respect, non-partisanship, and a deep belief in the power of community. Together, we are building a Montgomery County where everyone belongs—and where our local efforts can ripple outward to inspire national and global transformation.
